Teresa Romero is the President of the United Farm Workers (UFW). Of Mexican and Zapoteca heritage, she is the first Latina and first immigrant woman to become president of a national union in the United States.
David Bacon is an award-winning photojournalist. Documenting the lives and social movements of migrants, farm workers, and communities impacted by globalization, he is the author of The Children of NAFTA, Communities Without Borders, and In the Fields of the North.
