Join us for an inspiring FREE evening with incredible local social and environmental activists, supporting the people in Honduras in their struggle for democracy, social and environmental justice. Come meet them and hear their experience during their trip to Honduras. Hear about stories and see the images of the courageous people in Honduras!

November 5, 7:00 PM – Featuring Guest Speakers:

Kristin Jensen Sullivan is Chair of Morgan Family for Environmental Studies College in Cupertino. She has been actively engaged in exploring and protecting natural spaces and cultures in California, the U.S., Central America, and Africa.

Mark Sullivan, Environmental attorney and adjunct professor from Santa Cruz. Mark is interested in understanding how political, social and economic policies in Central America intersect with human rights violations and environmental abuses.

Lisa Templeton, Anthropologist working with several environmental nonprofit organizations in Silicon Valley. Lisa’s interests include human rights issues, sustainable food systems and environmental justice.

Sandra Orozco, Public health professional interested in global development and health. Sandra has conducted field research on agricultural models and socially responsible development in West Africa and southern Mexico.
